INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup milk of choice (oat milk for extra creaminess)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- Pinch of black pepper (crucial, boosts turmeric absorption)
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- Optional: ½ tsp coconut oil or ghee
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Warm the milk. Pour milk into a small saucepan over medium-low heat until it just begins to steam.
- Add the spices. Whisk in turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and coconut oil if using until fully combined.
- Heat and whisk. Continue whisking for 3 to 5 minutes until the latte is warm, smooth, and golden. Do not let it boil.
- Sweeten to taste. Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup.
- Serve. Pour into your favorite mug and dust with a pinch of cinnamon on top.
