INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ripe banana (frozen works best for creaminess)
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach
- ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk (or oat/coconut milk)
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 4 to 5 ice cubes
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add ingredients to the blender. Pour the almond milk in first, then add the banana, spinach, yogurt, chia seeds, and ice cubes.
- Blend until smooth. Blend on high for 60 to 90 seconds until completely smooth and creamy with no green flecks remaining.
- Taste and adjust. Add honey or maple syrup if extra sweetness is needed and give it one final quick blend.
- Pour and serve. Pour into a glass and drink immediately for the best texture and nutrition.
💚 Why It's Good For You
- Spinach delivers vitamins A, C, and K plus iron, and you won’t taste it at all
- Banana provides natural energy, potassium, and digestive-friendly fiber
- Chia seeds add omega-3 fatty acids and help keep you satisfied between meals
- Greek yogurt bumps up the protein, making this a genuine meal replacement option
💡 Tips & Swaps
Thicker smoothie: Use a frozen banana and reduce the milk slightly.
Vegan: Use coconut yogurt or skip the yogurt.
Boost it: Add a tablespoon of peanut butter or almond butter for healthy fats and extra protein.
